These mixing bowls from Rosti—here with a mixed, pebble-hued set—have been an icon in the kitchen for over 60 years. Designed in Denmark by industrial designers and architects, Acton Bjorn & Sigvard Bernadotte, the bowl was originally launched in 1954 and named for the Danish Queen Margrethe (with the expressed permission of the Danish royal house...how official!). People back then and now love its lightweight melamine construction, the simple handle on the rim, the clever pouring spout. And today, you’ll find an anti-slip ring on the base so you can go to town on your whipping cream. Oh, and psst: It's got wood fiber blended into the melamine to create that lovely, lightly speckled pattern you see.
