Every painting that a skilled botanical artist creates results in a visual definition of the plant, just like the parrot tulip on our Tulip 1/2 Pint Mug. Each unfurling feather-edged petal on the tulip is a masterstroke, true to the meticulous line work involved in botanical illustration.  Emma wanted to create a small collection of mugs in the Vegetable Garden range that celebrates this very traditional method of illustration. This black and white mug, together with their other illustrated mugs depicting a pineapple and an artichoke, make a thoughtful present for any tea or coffee drinker or budding botanist/botanical artist.

Earthenware pottery can sometimes get hot in the microwave so we recommend you don’t put Emma Bridgewater pottery in the microwave. Not oven safe. Our pottery is not oven safe unless marked as cookware.
