Today's recipe is so, so easy I almost feel guilty for posting it. It's a recipe for Gourmet Village's nut mixes, which we sell in the store and in our online store. It's such a good mix that there really is no point in trying to re-create it from scratch! They've done all the work, with just the right amount of spices and sugars. The one in this post is for the Cinnamon Glazed Nuts but they also make a Savoury Spice Nut Mix - both equally delicious, just depends if you like savoury or sweet snacks. Either nut mix is a perfect addition to your charcuterie board, or in a bowl to serve with cocktails as the perfect accompaniment for your New Year's Eve (small) celebration. The nuts come out perfectly coated in yummy goodness - 'hat's off to you' if you can keep from eating these before they've cooled cause I sure can't!

Cinnamon Glazed Nuts

4 lbs assorted nuts (they have to be raw, unsalted, not roasted) I like almonds, cashews, pecans, peanuts.

In a large bowl whisk, until frothy
1 egg white
2 tsp. water

Add to this your 4 cups of nuts and stir until coated

Sprinkle the Gourmet Village Cinnamon Nut mix over top and mix well.
Pour onto a parchment lined cookie sheet and spread them out into a single layer.

Bake at 350 for about 20-25 minutes.

Remove from oven and stir to break up or leave to cool and then break up - either way works. I leave mine to cool first because I like the bigger clusters of nuts but if you're putting these onto a charcuterie board you may want to do the first option.

Enjoy!
