A Cherry-Licious Twist on Monkey Bread
Do you remember (or maybe they still have it), Pizza Hut's cherry dessert pizza? Used to love that pizza! So, here's a monkey bread recipe that totally takes you back to the Pizza Hut Cherry Dessert Pizza. It's embarrassingly easy, few ingredients, takes no time to put together and it's really, pretty good!
Here's what I did
Into a a greased bundt pan.
Add in 1/2 the package of frozen buns (I think there are about 20 in a package)
Spread cherry pie filling over the frozen buns - about 1/2 the can.
Top with the rest of the frozen buns and the rest of the cherry pie filling.
Let this rise (about 6-8 hours)
Bake at 350 until the top is golden brown (mine is anywhere from 25-30 minutes)
Let cool for about 10-15 minutes, put a plate on top and flip the bundt pan over.
You can let it cool and add glaze, or just have the glaze on the side for whomever wants to add it to their piece.
Glaze
icing sugar - 1 cup
milk - just enough to get the consistency you want
you can add a spot of vanilla if you like.
mix well and drizzle over top.
Enjoy!
