A no bake bar?! How perfect does that sound? And this recipe is a bit healthier than a chocolate chip cookie but still just as satisfying. It does have chocolate and it does have a bit of sugar, but everything in moderation, am I right?
Let's get to the recipe. . .
No Bake Chocolate Oat Bar
Into a bowl, add in and melt together in your microwave - about 2 minutes
1 c. butter, cubed
1/4 c. b. sugar
1/4 c. honey
Stir in and microwave for 2 minutes (It will puff up)
3 c. quick oats
2 tsp vanilla
Let this oatmeal cool for a few minutes.
Divide in half.
Press half into a parchment lined 8x8 pan
Melt together and spread over the oats
1 c. chocolate chips
1/2 c. peanut butter
Crumble the remaining oat mixture over top.
Pop into the fridge and let set.
Slice into squares and. . .
