Here's a super quick, super easy, no need to heat the house, kind of recipe. It's all done in a saucepan - that's it, that's all. Really easy ingredients and (do I need to say it?) chocolate! It's sweet, it's delicious and if your house is like my house it will disappear in minutes. So cheers to no fuss summer baking:)
Let's get to it.....
No Bake Cookies
Add to a large saucepan 1/2 c. butter cut into chunks 2 c. sugar 1/4 c. cocoa 1/2 c. milk
Let melt at medium heat. When mixture comes to a boil, let it go for 1 minute.
Remove from heat and add in, stirring until smooth 1 tsp. vanilla 1/2 c. creamy peanut butter
Add in and stir until combined 3 c. quick oats
Drop by spoonful onto a parchment lined baking sheet (makes about 24 cookies)
Let set (if you can), or pop into the fridge for a quicker turn around time;)
