Do you ever buy something and then wonder what you were going to do with it? This is me with Skor bits. I seemed to be collecting them - whenever they were on sale, I seemed to think I needed to buy them, lol. So, time to find a recipe to use them up! Here's what I found - Toffee Chocolate Chip Cookie Bars. How could this not be good? And really, they're delish. Nice texture, good sweetness, chocolate and toffee and pretty easy to put together. Rating - thumbs up from all my testers:)

So, let's get baking . . .

Toffee Chocolate Chip Cookie Bars.

Mix together
2 1/3 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
2/3 c. b. sugar

Grate 3/4 c. cold butter

Mix the butter into the flour mixture until pebbly.

Add in and mix together
2 eggs, slightly beaten

Add in 1 1/2 c. chocolate chips

Set aside 1 1/2 c. of the dough.

Press the remaining dough into a parchment lined 9"x13" baking dish.

Bake at 350 for about 10 minutes.

Remove from oven and pour over top, getting as even as possible
1 14 oz. can sweetened condensed milk

Using 1 package of toffee bits (save 1/3 c) sprinkle over the top of the condensed milk.

Dollop the remaining dough over the toffee bits.

Sprinkle over top
1/2 c. chocolate chips
1/3 c. toffee bits

Bake at 350 for about 25 minutes or until golden.

Remove and cool completely before cutting.

Enjoy!
