Don't let the name of this recipe fool you - Puppy Chow. I had seen this recipe over the years pop up on lots of recipe sites but was never really interested in making it - I think the name was a turn off for me. Until now. One of the Crocus & Ivy gals brought a tin of this into work and can I just say - OMG! This is delicious! It's sooo good and sooo sooo easy! It almost blows your mind how something made with 4 ingredients can be 5 star worthy. It's crunchy, it's sweet - but not too sweet, it's chocolately in just the right amount and the peanut butter adds a little depth. This recipe must come with a warning - if you start eating this, you just can't stop - it's one of those treats you keep going back for just another handful and before you know it, the tin is empty - so, consider yourself warned LOL.

Let's get to the recipe. . .

Melt together and stir until smooth
1 c. semi sweet chocolate chips
1 c. creamy peanut butter

In a large bowl, add in
6 c. chex cereal

Gently stir until all the cereal is covered in the chocolate mixture.

Let sit until it has cooled (You can pop it into the fridge for a couple of minutes but don't let it harden)

Add 1 c. icing sugar to the mix (if it's too warm, the icing sugar will melt.)

Add up to 1 c. more icing sugar to get a nice coating on the cereal.

Keep in an airtight container.

Enjoy! And remember, you've been warned;)
